Test method revised for IC type LED driver in Australia/NewZealand
LED驱动的澳洲标准AS/NZS61347.1:2016+A1:2018在2020年11月26日出版一项技术裁决,是关于宣称为IC等级的独立式LED驱动的测试环境温度的澄清。
One ruling for standard AS/NZS 61347.1:2016+A1:2018 had publishedat November 26, 2020, applicable for ambient temperature in thermaltesting of IC type independent LED driver.

For thepurposes of this Appendix, the requirements of Clause 12of AS/NZS 60598.1 apply.
AS/NZS 60598.1:2017
The ambienttemperature within the draught-proof enclosure shall be within therange of 10 °C to 30 °C and should preferably be 25 °C. Itshall not vary by more than ±1 °C during measurements andduring a preceding period long enough to affect theresults.
If, however,a lamp has temperature-sensitive electrical characteristics (e.g. afluorescent lamp), or if the ta rating of the luminaireexceeds 30 °C, the ambient temperature withinthe draught-proof enclosure shall be within 5 °C of the tarating and should preferably be the same as the tarating.
独立式LED驱动需要按照灯具做热试验,当驱动(独立式驱动视为灯具)有宣称ta时,热试验在ta下进行。
New testmethod
无视独立式LED驱动宣称的ta值,热试验在25℃下进行。
此次测试方法的澄清/修订,将使得独立式驱动更容易在覆盖隔热棉的情况下通过热试验。
This ruling for standard would make the thermal testing passmore easier while the independent LED driver covered by thermalinsulation.
强烈建议广大制造商为自己的独立式LED驱动(尤其家用的)宣称IC等级,并申请/升级澳洲安全报告和证书!
We strongly advise manufacturers of LED driver (especially thosefor household use) to declare their product as IC-type, andapply/update their test report and certification as soon aspossible.
