KYNAR® 720 is a semi-crystalline low molecular weight pelletizedpolymer of vinylidene fluoride. It is a versatile engineeringplastic with an outstanding balance of physical and chemicalproperties which qualify it for high performance service in a widerange of applications. It is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer capableof being fabricated in standard processing equipment. The molecularweight and molecular weight distribution have been carefullytailored to supply a grade suitable for a variety of processingrequirements and end-use applications.
KYNAR® 720 is recommended for fine extrusion operations such asmonofilament and thin, flat, and blown film. It is also suitablefor injection molding applications where very thin cross-sectionsfor intricate design require excellent melt flow characteristics.KYNAR® 720 is also suggested for coextrusion of compositeconstructions and as a base for filled or alloyed KYNAR®compounds.
The powder form of this resin grade is available as KYNAR® 721PVDF.
