The TD1410is a 380 KHz fixed frequency monolithic
step downswitch mode regulator with a built in internal
PowerMOSFET. It achieves 2A continuous output
currentover a wide input supply range with excellent
load andline regulation.
The deviceincludes a voltage reference, oscillation
circuit,error amplifier, internal PMOS and etc.
The PWMcontrol circuit is able to adjust the duty ratio
linearlyfrom 0 to . An enable function, an over
currentprotection function and a short circuit protection
functionare built inside. An internal compensation block
is builtin to minimize external component count.
The TD1410serves as ideal power supply units for
portabledevices.

Themaximum junction temperature of TD1410 is 145°C,
whichlimits the maximum load current capability. Please
see thethermal de-rating curves for the maximum load
current ofthe TD1410 under different ambient
temperatures.
Thethermal performance of the TD1410 is trongly
affectedby the PCB layout. Extra care should be taken
by usersduring the design process to nsure that the IC
willoperate under the recommended environmental
conditions.
Severallayout tips are listed below for the best electric
andthermal performance.
1. Do notuse thermal relief connection to the VIN and
the GNDpin. Pour a maximized copper area to the GND
pin andthe VIN pin to help thermal dissipation.
2. Inputcapacitor should be connected to the VIN pin
and theGND pin as close as possible.
3. Makethe current trace from VOUT pins to L to the
GND asshort as possible.
4. Pourcopper plane on all unused board area and
connect itto stable DC nodes, like VIN, GND, or VOUT.
5. Keepsensitive signal traces such as trace connecting
FB pinaway from the VOUT pins.
