测试标本说明：
ASTM23测试标本分为3种：低能量级13-20焦耳，高能量级88-133焦耳，超高能量级176-244焦耳。低能量级和高能量级标本分为NIST标本 和 自测标本两种。
低能量级：SRM 2092(NIST标本）
SRM2093 (自测标本）
高能量级：SRM2096 (NIST标本）
SRM2097 (自测标本）
超高能量级：SRM 2098(NIST标本）
自测标本只表明能量级，不包含任何NIST检测服务咨询.
Combinations forEnergy Ranges are as follows:
If a machine hasa maximum capacity less than 289 J (213 ft-lbf):
Test the lowenergy SRM 2092 (or 2093 self-verification) & the high energy SRM2096 (or 2097 self-verification). The machine will be certifiedfrom the lower limit to 80% of maximum capacity.
If a machine hasa maximum capacity of 289 J (213 ft-lbf) or more:
Test the lowenergy SRM 2092 (or 2093 self-verification) & the high energy SRM2096 (or 2097 self-verification). The machine will be certifiedfrom the lower limit to 1.5 X the highest energy leveltested.
or
Test the lowenergy SRM 2092 (or 2093 self-verification), the high energy SRM2096 (or 2097 self-verification) & the super-high SRM 2098. Themachine will be certified from the lower limit to 80% of maximumcapacity.
Test the highenergy SRM 2096 (or 2097 self-verification) & the super-high SRM2098. The machine will be certified from ½ the lowest energy leveltested to 80% of maximum capacity.
Please note: The"Self-Verification" specimens will come with the certified value inorder to perform your own verification of your machine to ASTM E23.The Self-Verification specimens shall not to be returnedto lab and do not include any of lab services (before orafter testing) or help and will not come with a NIST VerificationLetter and/or sticker.
