澳洲-含纽扣电池产品的安全使用标准两个月后强制实施
Two months to go for button battery safetystandards
ACCC（澳大利亚竞争和消费委员会）正在敦促供应纽扣电池或由纽扣电池供电的产品的企业，确保他们在2022年6月22日法律强制执行之前符合新的纽扣电池安全标准。ACCC还呼吁消费者在家中检查不安全的按钮电池产品。
The ACCC（Australian Competition and Consumer Commission） isurging businesses who supply button batteries, or products that arepowered by them, to ensure they are complying with the new buttonbattery safety standards ahead of the laws becoming mandatory on 22June，2022. The ACCC is also calling on consumers to check forunsafe button battery products in their homes.
根据强制性的安全和信息标准，产品必须有安全的电池腔，以防止儿童接触电池。制造商必须进行符合性测试，以儿童防护包装供应电池，并在包装和说明上附加警告和紧急建议。
Under the mandatory safety and information standards, products musthave secure battery compartments to prevent children from gainingaccess to the batteries. Manufacturers must undertake compliancetesting, supply batteries in child-resistant packaging, and placeadditional warnings and emergency advice on packaging andinstructions.
在澳大利亚，涉及纽扣电池的事故已造成3名儿童死亡，44人严重受伤。每月都有超过一名儿童因摄入或插入纽扣电池而严重受伤，而全世界数以百万计的消费品中都含有纽扣电池。
Three children have died and 44 have been severely injured inAustralia from incidents involving button batteries, and more thanone child a month is seriously injured as a result of ingesting orinserting the batteries, which are contained in millions ofconsumer goods worldwide.
