CuZn21Si3P(CW724R) Silicon brass a brass in which silicon is addedto a copse-zinc alloy. It has high corrosion resistance inatmosphere and sea water, and its stress corrosion ruptureresistance is higher than common brass. The silicon content isgenerally below 4%. Commonly used silicon brass 80Cu-17Zn-3Si canwithstand hot pressure processing, excellent corrosion resistance,soft tensile strength of 300MPa, 58% elongation, suitable for theproduction of Marine parts, steam pipes and water pipe fittings.The alloy should not contain more than 0.01% lead, otherwise itwill damage thermoplasticity, especially hot forging properties.Leaded silicon brass with high cutting, friction and corrosion
