1：印度机动车及其零部件认证,叫印度AIS认证，也有叫ARAI认证的，以下称ARAI认证。
ARAI是印度汽车工业研究协会，隶属于印度重工业与公共事业部。其下设多个实验室，能独立完成道路车辆、非道路车辆、重型车辆及各种机动车零部件的评估、测试和认证工作。

2：认证流程
a.提交产品认证申请资料，工厂审核申请资料，
b.ARAI审核文件资料并安排工厂审核，
c.工厂审核并现场抽取测试样品
d.寄送样品到印度实验室测试
e.测试合格出报告
f.发出证书。
备注：只要标准没有更新，证书持续有效。绝大部分产品都是每两年进行一次厂检，不参加年审的情况下，认证机构有权吊销证书.
