防火毯， 或称消防被、灭火被、灭火毯、消防毯、阻燃毯、逃生毯，是由玻璃纤维等材料经过特殊处理编织而成的织物，能起到隔离热源及火焰的作用，可用于扑灭油锅火或者披覆在身上逃生。
防火毯主要用于企业、商场、船舶、汽车、民用建筑物等场合的一种简便的初始灭火工具。特别适用于家庭和饭店的厨房、宾馆、娱乐场所、加油站等一些容易着火的场所。防止火势蔓延以及防护逃生用。

1 Scope 范围
Thisdocument specifies requirements for fire blankets which are notreusable and that are intended for use by one person.本文件规定了不能重复使用和仅供一人使用的防火毯的要求。
Itspecifies requirements for fire blankets usable to control smallfires. It also limits the risk of electric shock in case ofunintentional use on live electrical equipment.它规定了用于控制小型火灾的防火毯的要求。它还限制了意外使用带电电气设备时的触电风险。
Fireblankets that are large enough are considered suitable to be usedfor smothering persons whose clothes are on fire.足够大的防火毯被认为适合用于那些衣服着火完全覆盖的人。

（包装袋）应以红色背景白色字标识如下内容，且在固定位置时标识应当可见
a)‘’FIRE BLANKET 不超过20mm高
b)型号或款型
c）‘DISCARD AFTER USE’
d）使用说明书包含象形文字包括‘cover burning materialcompletely’, ‘switch off heat’ and ‘leave covered untilcool’.
