MerchandiseProcessing Fee (MPF)

The Merchandise ProcessingFee (MPF) is a fee imposed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection(CBP) for most U.S. imports.

商品加工费（MPF）是美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）对大多数美国进口商品征收的费用。

The MPF is charged at0.3456% of the value of the merchandise being imported. There is aminimum fee of $25 and a maximum of $485 for formal entries. TheMPF for informal entries is charged at a fixed fee and ranges from$2.00, $6.00 or $9.00 per shipment.

Harbor Maintenance Fee(HMF)

TheHarbor Maintenance Fee (HMF) is a fee imposed by U.S. Customs andBorder Protection (CBP) for U.S. imports shipped via ocean freight.It is charged at 0.125% of the value of the commercial cargoshipped through identified ports.

港口维护费（HMF）是美国海关和边境保护局（CBP）对通过海运进口的美国进口产品征收的费用。收费为通过已确定港口运输的商业货物价值的0.125％。

TheHMF is deposited into the Harbor Maintenance trust fund, which maybe used by Congress to pay for harbor maintenance, developmentprojects and other related expenses.
