General Purpose DC Gaging LVDTs

The Series 350 DC Gaging Transducers are an integrated packageconsisting of a spring loaded spindle, precision linear variabledifferential transformer, a solid state oscillator, and aphasesensitive demodulator. The transducer is designed forexcellent linearity, infinite resolution, and high sensitivity.Input and output circuits are electrically isolated from each otherand from the coil assembly housing, making them usable directly infloating or ground return systems. DC indicators, recorders, andcontrol systems can usually be driven directly by the large DCoutput. The spindle, when displaced axially within the coilassembly, produces a voltage change in the output directlyproportional to the displacement.
